Privacy Policy
Effective September 5, 2026
This policy explains what A OH K Investments LLC, a Delaware limited liability company doing business as keepmytcp ("keepmytcp", "we", "us") collects when you use keepmytcp.com and the keepmytcp service, why we collect it, who sees it and the choices you have. It applies to visitors of the website and to customers who create an account.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you create an account we ask for an email address and a password, or we send a sign-in link to your email. When you enroll a company we ask for its legal name, DBA, a contact name and a mobile phone number for text alerts. You may upload documents such as insurance certificates, vehicle registration cards, driver licenses, medical cards and PUCTRA filings, and enter vehicle, driver and deadline details.
Public CPUC records. When you claim a carrier account (PSG number) we retrieve the public record the California Public Utilities Commission publishes for it: carrier name, DBA, city, authority status, certificate numbers and dates, and insurance filing status. We collect the same public data for every California charter-party carrier so that we can detect changes. This data is public before it reaches us; we do not add private information to it.
Payment information. Subscriptions are billed by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and never touches our servers. We keep only Stripe's customer and subscription identifiers, the plan you chose, the billing status and the renewal date.
Automatically collected information. Like most websites we receive your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and the time of your visit. We use the analytics tools listed below to understand how the site is used. Our hosting and email providers keep standard server logs.
How we use it
- To run the service: watch your CPUC record, calculate deadlines, read dates from the documents you upload, and send you alerts by email and, if you opt in, text message.
- To bill you and to send receipts, renewal notices and billing problems.
- To answer support requests and to tell you about changes to the service or these terms.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and verify that a person claiming a carrier account is entitled to it.
- To understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Document reading by AI
When you upload a document we may send it to an artificial-intelligence provider (currently Anthropic) to extract dates, names, policy numbers and similar fields. The provider processes the document to return those fields to us and, under its business terms, does not use your documents to train its models. You can always correct or delete anything it reads.
Who we share it with
We use service providers who process data on our behalf and under contract: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage, hosted in the United States), Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare (hosting, content delivery and DNS), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Anthropic (document reading), and the analytics providers below. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
We never file anything with the CPUC on your behalf and we never send your private data to the CPUC. On the Watch + File plan we prepare statements for you to review, certify and submit yourself.
Analytics, cookies and session recordings
We use the following tools. Each is optional for us and we list it here because it may be active on the site:
- Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.
- Google Analytics uses cookies to measure traffic sources, page views and conversions. IP addresses are anonymized. Google's use of this data is described in Google's privacy policy; you can opt out with the Google Analytics browser add-on.
- Microsoft Clarity records how visitors interact with pages (clicks, scrolling, mouse movement) to produce heatmaps and session replays. Clarity masks text you type into forms. Its use of data is described in Microsoft's privacy statement.
Our own service uses a cookie or local storage only to keep you signed in and to remember interface preferences. You can block cookies in your browser; the public website will still work, but you cannot stay signed in without them.
Text messages
If you give us a mobile number and turn on text alerts, we will send deadline and status alerts by SMS. Message frequency depends on your deadlines. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop, or remove the number from your account. We do not share your mobile number with third parties for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data and uploaded documents for as long as your account is open, and for up to 90 days after you close it so that you can change your mind. Billing records are kept for seven years as tax law requires. Public CPUC data and the history of changes to it is kept indefinitely because it is a public record. Server logs and analytics data are kept for the retention period of the provider, generally 14 months or less.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to customer data inside the service is controlled by row-level permissions so that each login can see only its own companies, and staff access is limited to the people who operate the service. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information we will notify you as California law requires.
Your choices and rights
You can view and change your profile, company, carrier and document information from the Account page, and delete documents at any time. You can close your account by emailing us. California residents have the right under the California Consumer Privacy Act to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request a copy of it, to request that we delete it, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA. To exercise any right, email info@keepmytcp.com from the address on your account; we will verify the request and respond within 45 days. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
Children
The service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the effective date. If a change materially reduces your rights we will email account holders before it takes effect.
